Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein offers a thoughtful analysis of racism and the form it often takes among religious Jews. Perhaps it’s a manifestation of Jewish cynicism which, I believe, is a defense mechanism evolved from generations of anti-semitic persecution. More on that another time.
