I’m writing you this way because my computer crashed and I lost previous emails to you.
I’m continuing slowly through your book and enjoying it. Hope you don’t mind if I mention a few things which seem like errors but it might be because my own background knowledge is flawed.
On page 260, you mention that Mordechai returned with the Olim to Eretz Yisroel? I don’t recall ever hearing this. Of course he was back in Shushan 2 decades later.
Also, I believe that the leader of the olim, Zerubavel, was the son of Shaltiel, not Yohoyochin. A recent edition of Kolmos mentions that he was either his grandson or greatgrandson.

You are correct; Zerubavel was the son of Shaltiel, who was the son of Yohoyochin. I’ll have to check the source for Mordechai returning to Israel with the first wave of immigrants. I did find a Yalkut Shmoni that says he returned after the initial exile and was exiled again by Nebuchadnezzar.
